Reservations & Policies
What is your intake policy?
At Create Space Hair Co., we provide personalized care by sending an intake form with your appointment reminder to tailor each visit to your needs.This form is an integral part of our commitment to understanding not just your hair, but also your scalp, enabling us to create long-term goals and offer professional advice that supports the health of both.
By completing this annual, in-depth questionnaire, you allow us to gather essential information beforehand, which helps us focus more on delivering exceptional service during your appointment. This approach minimizes the need for extensive questions during your visit, allowing us to concentrate on what truly matters—your salon experience and the results you desire.
Each time you visit, we will also request a brief follow-up intake. This quick update lets us know if there have been any significant changes or if you're interested in exploring any of our additional services. It's all part of our effort to enhance your experience and ensure you receive the best possible care.
What is your credit card policy?
To ensure fairness for both our valued clients and dedicated stylists, we have implemented a policy requiring credit card information on file. We recognize that our salon’s high demand and limited availability can make it challenging to secure appointments. Our goal is to ensure every client receives the exceptional experience they deserve. Unfortunately, no-show appointments affect not only our stylists but also clients who are waiting to secure an appointment.
Please be assured that your card will only be charged in the event of a no-show or a late cancellation without sufficient notice. We understand that unexpected situations can arise, so we will carefully review each circumstance to determine whether a fee should apply.
We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to maintain a smooth scheduling process. Our goal is to continue serving our community with the high level of care and attention you’ve come to expect, and we are grateful for your trust and support.
What is your cancellation policy?
For appointment no shows, we do charge a 100 percent service charge to the credit card on file. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment for any reason, we require no less than 24 hours notice. Day of cancelations will be charged a 50 percent service cancellation fee, however management will review each last minute cancelation carefully, and upon reasonable need of absence, the fee may be waved completely.

Do you accept walk-ins or are reservations required?
Our stylists are super busy and we’re usually booked pretty well in advance! For this reason, booking your reservation ahead of time is definitely recommended. That being said, on days that walk-in reservations are available, we put out our side walk sign to let you know. Want a same-day reservation? Best to chat to us directly (778) 933-2321.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and good old-fashioned cash—whatever’s easiest for you! If you have any questions about payment options, just ask when you book or visit.
Is parking available nearby?
Street parking is available directly in front of Create Space Hair Co. located at 9340 Mill Street B in Chilliwack, BC. Please note the on‑street parking along Mill Street and Victoria Avenue may have time restrictions and be metered based on the day and time you're coming in to see us. For longer reservations, you may want to consider one of the nearby public lots. There's a public parking lot on Victoria Avenue with approximately 41 stalls, including EV charging stations. Another convenient option is located at Princess Avenue and Nowell Street, just a 3-minute walk from the salon.

What should I expect during a consultation?
Consultations help your Chilliwack hair stylist understand your goals, your hair’s current condition, and your lifestyle so we can create a look that actually fits you perfectly. We’ll chat through your hair history, challenges, styling habits, and budget. If you choose, we can also offer a scalp analysis to ensure your hair health is on point. Please bring inspo pics if you have them as well as your fully transparent honesty! We truly believe that clear is kind, so if you have any hesitation or questions about anything during any part of your consultation, fill us in so we can help ASAP.
Do I need a consultation before my first colour or texture service?
Yep! If it’s your first time getting colour or texture work with us, a consultation is a must. It helps us assess your hair’s health, understand your goals, and map out a realistic plan to get you there safely and at its literal most beautiful. It also gives us a chance to chat about maintenance, budget, and timelines so there are zero surprises. The best part? It’s totally free and included as part of your service. No need to book your consultation separately, unless you want to.
Can you help me choose a new style or colour that suits me?
That's one of our favourite things to do. Whether you’re ready for a big change or just feeling a little “meh” about your current look, we’ll help you find a style or colour that works with your features, your energy, and your lifestyle. We’ll talk through what you like (and don’t), explore some inspo together, and give honest suggestions based on what will make you feel amazing. Our stylists are super experienced, hold tons of colour and technique certifications, and have legit seen it all. They can help guide you.
What services do you offer?

What’s the best way to find the right stylist for me?
We’ve been there ourselves: When you find the right stylist, you NEVER let them go. But getting to that point? That can take some time. We aim to shorten it by gathering as much info as possible from you about what you’re looking for.
Some of our stylists are absolute magic with blonding services, others are obsessed with getting the perfect lived-in colour, while others thrive with identifying curl patterns. How do I maintain blonde hair between visits?
Blonde hair needs a little extra love to stay fresh and bright. We usually recommend using a high-quality purple or blue shampoo (depending on your tone) once a week to neutralize brassiness, plus hydrating treatments to keep your hair strong and shiny. Heat protection is non-negotiable if you’re styling regularly, and regular toning or gloss appointments (every 6–8 weeks) can keep your colour looking salon-fresh. What tips do you have for curly or textured hair?
At Create Space Hair Co. in Chilliwack we have stylists who specialize in working with all curl patterns.
The key to healthy curls is moisture, gentle handling, and the right products for your curl type. We recommend sulfate-free shampoos, deep conditioning regularly, and avoiding heat or harsh brushing on dry hair. Use a microfibre towel or cotton T-shirt to dry, and apply styling products while your hair is still wet to lock in definition.

How can I protect my hair from heat damage or colour fading?
Right? You’ve invested energy into getting it just right so love that for you that you’re committed to protecting it. Start with a good heat protectant (seriously, it’s a must if you’re using hot tools). Keep the temps on the lower side, and try not to overdo it with your straightener or curling iron. For colour, wash with cool water, use a gentle, colour-safe shampoo, and don’t skip the conditioner. Little things like weekly masks or leave-ins make a big difference in keeping your hair strong, shiny, and vibrant between visits.

We’re proud to recycle and repurpose up to 98% of our salon waste through our partnership with the Green Circle Initiative, which helps us keep things like hair clippings, used foils, leftover colour, and even PPE waste out of landfills.

We sure do, and we’ve made it super easy to take your favourite products home. Everything we use at the chair is available in our salon or online, from shampoo and scalp care to styling tools and treatments. We carry full lines from Kérastase and Davines (aka the good stuff), plus brushes, dry shampoos, masks, and more. Not sure what you need? Does Create Space Hair Co. offer refills on products?
We’re suuuper proud to offer the Davines Refill Program. You can purchase your favourite Davines products in reusable bottles and bring them back to the salon for refill pouches when you run out. Not only does this help reduce plastic waste by up to 74%, but it also saves you money because refills are discounted compared to buying a brand-new bottle. Love it so much when everyone wins like that.
